I was delighted to learn that His Favorite Mistress is the winner of the 2008 Aspen Gold Reader’s Choice Award for Best Historical Romance. Runners-up in the category were Untouched by Anna Campbell and Lady Be Bad by Candice Hern.
07.26.07: AND THE WINNER IS...
I was thrilled and tremendously honored to hear my name called the night
of July 14 in Dallas at the Romance Writers of America Awards Ceremony. My novel, The Husband Trap, won the 2007 RITA Award for
Best First Book––the romance industry’s equivalent to the Oscar.
Earlier that same week, I was delighted to also be awarded a National Readers
Choice Award, again for Best First Book for The Husband Trap. The novel
also won the 2007 Golden Quill Award for Best Historical Romance as well as the
‘Best of the Best’ Grand Prize Winner in RWI’s More Than Magic
